40+ Years of Martial Arts & Strength Training

I have been immersed in the world of physical conditioning for 40 years, with 30 of those years spent in the trenches teaching others how to unlock their potential. My journey in strength began long before the industry trends of today, and I carry the hard-won experience of an original 2009 RKC instructor under Pavel Tsatsuline—a foundation that remained rock-solid even as that lineage evolved into StrongFirst.

Beyond the weight room, I hold a Black Belt in Carlson Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. This fusion of high-level martial arts and elite strength training defines my approach; I don’t just train bodies, I cultivate mastery.

My philosophy is rooted in a fundamental truth: physical strength is the bedrock of mental and emotional balance. I believe that a resilient body is the key to achieving success in every facet of your life. When you train with me, you aren't following a generic program. I provide a deeply personalized approach, ensuring that every athlete I work with maximizes their results while building a body that is not just strong, but truly capable and durable.
